Making Mozzarella Cheese
It is said that making Mozzarella cheese from scratch at home is easy, I think that might be debatable, but it is definitely fun to do with friends!

Amazing Pizza Sauce
Over the years my family has developed a tradition of having pizza on Friday nights. In the beginning we would sometimes order the pizza but as time progressed, we started making our own pizza and now we hardly ever order out.

Roasting a Chicken
The recipe is wonderfully simple but can be tweaked as needed. For my rendition, I decided to through in some cut veggies on the bottom which included onions, butternut squash, a parsnip and mushrooms, then I placed the chicken on top of the veggies.

Developing a Concept or Vision
The result is not so important to me anymore, as the creative process or the journey as I like to call it, is much more interesting. At the end of the day, having a vision and then making it happen is one of the things that makes my life joyful.

Garden Surprises
Although I’ve been gardening for years, I still consider myself a novice picking up gardening tips from family, books, television, podcasts, magazines, you name it. I’m a sponge when it comes to research and gathering useful information about the garden.

Throwback Thursday: Building an Outhouse

Throwback Thursday: Ireland
In May of 2019 we took a trip to Ireland to celebrate Andy’s 50th Birthday which was in March. It was a ten-day trip that we took with our friends Laurie and David. This post will be a brief walk down memory lane as we’ve not travel abroad since.

Paintbrush Pots and Raku Firing
Although I work in many mediums when I create art, oil painting is my first love, followed by working in clay. Being the practical person that I am, I decided to combine my two interested and make a container, or two, to hold my paint brushes.

Palisade Fun: Bookcliff Vineyards
Their tasting room in Palisade is located on a hill and so when you taste outside you are surrounded by the most amazing views of the valley with Mesa’s and blue sky as far as the eye can see. Down below, you are surrounded by vineyards and peach orchards. For me, It’s a vision of heaven.
