Posh Cottage

Nestled in the heart of Colorado Wine Country on East Orchard Mesa, Posh cottage is minutes away from local orchards, wineries and Palisade eateries including the Palisade Pie Shop. Posh Cottage reinvents luxury on an intimate scale with high ceilings and quality finishes throughout. Located on the property of resident artist Kim Putnam, the cottage including original artwork for sale, and artisan designed serving ware created by Kim and other local artists. Across from the cottage is Posh Gardens, a market garden which once complete will provide locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs, all of which will be available to guests who enjoy a farm to table experience. The garden design provides gravel pathways for leisurely strolls and ample seating throughout, with benches and tables thoughtfully placed for viewing Mount Garfield, the Grand Mesa and the valley’s spectacular sunsets. Fresh produce and flowers from the adjoining market garden are available to guests during the summer and early fall.

Early risers can also catch one of our breath-taking sunrises while enjoy a hot cup of locally roasted coffee. After a day of wine tasting, mountain biking or hiking the National Monument, guests can relax on the Cottage’s patio with a refreshing glass of wine from one of the thirty plus wineries in the area. On rare occasions guests will also be serenaded by the distant songs of the coyotes. Other countryside wildlife includes the sights and sounds of our neighboring chickens, roosters, ducks, donkeys, cows, ravens, and an assortment of other winged fauna.
